Bluechilli Design & Print

About Us

We are Bluechilli, a creative team of designers and print makers with a passion for solving problems and crafting beautiful solutions that deliver results.

From the moment, we receive your brief, to the second we place the final full stop on your print order, we have just one objective – to satisfy your requirements. Absolutely.

And all in the fast, friendly – and above all creative – fashion that has become Bluechilli’s trademark.

It’s what we do. Going the extra mile to delight a client is the norm. We expect nothing less from ourselves.

It’s this ethos, woven into the fabric of the business and shared by our substantial complement of talented designers and printers, that enables us to produce impeccable products for you, time after time.

One of our strengths is that we have this abundance of creativity and skill all under one roof. Problems are resolved on the spot. Decisions are made immediately. Investment in the best equipment and latest technologies make complex processes simple and cost effective.

We understand that talented people will produce great work. They’ll do even greater things as part of an exceptional team, so we invest in the best and give them the opportunity to shine; a mandate to push boundaries and to create work that people point to and say “I want that”.

This innovative and creative approach ensures an in-built quality that permits our work to speak for itself.

Our Team

Steve O’Flaherty

Sales Director

With more than 20 years experience in the print industry, Steve endeavours to ensure clients receive the best possible service available. His good nature, attention to detail and positive attitude make him great at helping people solve their complex creative problems.

Karl Wheeler

Creative Director

Karl has worked in the industry for 20 years and has amassed a huge amount of knowledge and experience in design and print. Karl has the vision and the ability to transform any project from good design to great design. We are yet to see him turn down a cup of coffee.

Jennifer Tune

Studio Manager

Jen has a varied background in design, having worked in both the retail sector and the education sector prior to joining Bluechilli. A right proper northern lass, despite living in the midlands for over a decade, she is passionate about typography and crafting unique and dynamic solutions for each and every client.

Carl Newell

Senior Designer

Carl is a huge sports fan who worked as a graphic designer for Coventry City FC for more than 10 years. He can turn his hand to any design task and throws himself into every project with a positive attitude. He can normally be found with a cup of tea in his hand and a hat on his head.

Sian Pryce

Sian came to Bluechilli as a fresh faced university graduate and hasn’t stopped impressing us since. A highly talented graphic designer with a natural gift for creating show-stopping brands and outstanding packaging. Sian’s incredibly infectious laugh is something to behold.

Amelia Cornforth

Amelia joined bluechilli as an apprentice designer in early 2017 and immediately wowed us, and our clients, with her creativity, eye for design and sparkling personality. When she’s not crafting beautiful designs she can most often be found adding to her huge collection of shoes or sampling a decadent cocktail.

Tim Holme

Tim is a veteran designer with experience in print, digital and illustration with an addiction to collecting vintage cameras.

Luke MacGregor-Dignan

Fixie owner, father of two, vinyl enthusiast, espresso lover and vintage furniture fan. Luke works at the sweet spot between aesthetics and purpose to create strong, lasting and remarkable solutions and delightful brand experiences. Fuelled by craft beer, indie music, and tortilla chips, he is on a quest to save the world from bad design.

Jamie Wood-Thurstance

Print Finisher

Manchester City obsessed Jamie came to Bluechilli as an apprentice in print and production, and has learnt so much in that time that he is now mentoring our new apprentice, James.

James Langridge

Print Finisher

Our youngest member of the team, James, has recently joined us as a print and production apprentice. He is very quickly mastering all the skills and techniques required in this role and, if you ask nicely, he’ll make you a cracking cuppa.

Inspector of Bins

The life and soul of the studio who always brings a smile to your face. Usually found asleep on the job in the breakout area.

We’re a talented, friendly, hard-working group of creative professionals and we’re always on the lookout for those with the ‘right stuff’ to join the team.

From time to time we also offer placements for students and graduates to give them an insight into studio life.
